Description
- A number of materials collected during the 2024 campus encampments up to Fall 2025, donated by a member of Columbia Students for a Democratic Society. **Lot numbers with an extra appendix (-1, -2, etc.) are used below to group this donation by creator/distributor of the materials.**

2025.039-1 => Materials created and/or distributed by Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD)

- Two stickers: (1) "NYC: All out to Columbia" sticker for a student walkout & protest on January 21st, 2024; (2) "Columbia IGP Whitewashes Genocide" sticker criticizing the Columbia Institute for Global Politics (IGP) "platforming [of] war criminals and collaborators."

- Two small folded single-page zines: (1) "Commemorating October 7th" zine exploring CUAD's support of Palestinian liberation; (2) "Cops on Columbia: How Public Safety Upholds the NYPD Legacy of Violence" zine created by the CUAD & Student Workers of Columbia (SWC) Cops Off Campus Working Group.

- One small flyer titled "We Call on the Columbia Board of Trustees" listing the demands of CUAD and other student groups.

- Three letter size flyers: (1) A flow chart outlining the offices and policies Columbia and Barnard respectively use to discipline students; (2) digital drawing depicting Alma Mater surrounded by the text "$13.6 BILLION FUNDED BY GENOCIDE [and] GENTRIFICATION," referencing Columbia's endowment and the University's role in the genocide of Palestinians and gentrification of Harlem; (3) "You are Columbia" poster offering a "translat[ion]" of rhetoric often used by Columbia's administration through an anti-genocide, pro-Palestine lens.

- One half-size full-color zine titled "So you want to free Palestine?: Palestine 101" covering Palestinian culture, U.S. Imperialism, and global solidarity (features a back cover with design by Josh MacPhee).

2025.039-2 => Materials created and/or distributed by Columbia University Student Union

- One yellow cloth banner with the Columbia University Student Union logo—two shaking hands encircled by the laurel wreath above an open book—painted in red.

- One small button with the Columbia University Student Union logo in its standard blue.

- One large sticker titled "TELL COLUMBIA AND TRUMP: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" promoting a joint "emergency rally" held on campus by CUSU, Columbia/Barnard College Jewish Voice for Peace, and Student Workers' Council UAW 2710.

- Three informational zines and pamphlets: (1) a tri-fold pamphlet advocating for Columbia students to join a student strike; (2) a half-size pamphlet containing introductory information on the Columbia Student Union; (3) an unfolded single-page zine entitled "REPAIR NY: A bill to make Columbia pay property taxes" outlining a plan to allocate Columbia's property taxes to CUNY.

2025.039-3 => Materials created and/or distributed by general on-campus Columbia organizations

- 25 stickers (various sizes) covering a range of topics from the complicity of Columbia's Board of Trustees in genocide to criticism of Columbia's exclusion of non-affiliated community members to promotional materials for on- and off-campus rallies, exhibitions, and meetings.

- 8 buttons (various sizes): (1) "FREE MAHMOUD"; (2) "NOT WITH MY MONEY"; (3) "DIVEST"; (4) The Weather Underground logo on a red background; (5) Shai Davidai edited to be wearing a green headband with white Arabic lettering; (6) "LAMP 4 PREZ 2025"; (7) "NYC UNION OF STUDENTS"; (8) "STUDENTS, STAFF, AND FACULTY STAND IN SOLIDARITY: NYC UNION OF STUDENTS MARCH FROM CCNY TO COLUMBIA".

- 16 multi-page half-fold zines: (1-3) Issues 1-3 of the manga Partisans based on the Columbia encampments; (4) "The Battle of Hind's Hall from Our Side of the Barricades" by Unity of Fields; (5) "History Repeats Itself: First as Farce, Then as Tragedy / Why the Democrats are Responsible for Donald Trump's Return to Power" by CrimethInc.; (6) "Reflections on the 'Global Student Intifada'" by Faisal Al-Asaad; (7) "Lessons on Taking the School" by CrimethInc.; (8) "Blockade, Occupy, Strike Back: a collection of tactical knowledge for students and others"; (9) "Why We Don't Make Demands," first published in the anarchist journal Rolling Thunder; (10) "Chevron is Destroying Life on Earth From Turtle Island to Palestine" ; (11) "Affordable Textbooks Now!!!: a Barnard library guide in accessing FREE course materials"; (12) "Shit I Drew in 2013", published in 2014 by Better Dead than Dumb; (13) "Butler's Warning... our health in a changing climate" by Aleknya Maram; (14) "The New School Gaza Solidarity Encampment Prints"; (15) "Columbia Researchers It's Time to Divest our Labor from the War Machine"; (16) "First We Take Columbia: Lessons from the April 1968 Occupations Movement" by Ill Will.

- One small square hand-out with QR code to "boycott with boycat, the official partner app of BDS".
