Description
A large collection of photocopied documents related to the apartheid-era South African labor movement, in particular as it connects to the anti-apartheid activist and educator Rick Turner. Includes material related to trade unions, the 1973 Durban wildcat strikes, the Wages Committee, and the Institute for Industrial Education. This material was research for Keniston's 2014 book on Turner, Choosing to Be Free.
