Anyone can be arrested at any time, for any reason, or no reason at all! There are certain things that can almost guarantee you will be arrested, but there is very little you can do to guarantee you won't be!

If you are arrested or questioned by the police about anything but your basic information, the ONLY thing you can safely say is:
I am going to remain silent, and I want to speak to a lawyer
(then remain silent)
