Description
This poster was printed to commemorate Al Thompson, a long-time community organizer and housing rights activist in San Francisco who died suddenly of heart failure in Spring 2001. Al was a source of humor and hope for many members of MAC, the Mission Anti-displacement Coalition. Several lines from a poem by Pablo Neruda are printed at the bottom.
